Our wonderful Dr. Barton is retiring this month. We thank him for his 32 years of service to our practice and community. His insight, wisdom, kindness, and humor have left a lasting impression on us that we will never forget. He is a friend to all and we will miss seeing his smile around the office.
Dr. Barton had this to say regarding his retirement in a letter to all of his patients:
After much consideration and with very mixed feelings I have decided to retire from the practice of Obstetrics and Gynecology on September 21st, 2023. I am so grateful for your trust in me as a physician and it has been an honor and privilege for me to serve you in your health care. I will miss visiting with you and following how you and your families are doing. I truly appreciate your friendship and support you have given me through the past 32 years of my being in practice here at Cottonwood OBGYN.
I would hope that you would continue to come to our office for your OBGYN needs. All my partners are excellent physicians and could provide care for you from this point forward. Our office staff can assist you in finding a physician to carry on your health care after I retire.
Thank you again for allowing me to be a part of your lives as your physician. My hope and prayer is for health and happiness for you and your loved ones. I consider each and every one of you an honored friend as well as a patient.
